SAFE STREETS BIKE TOUR

As part of an overall effort to improve the quality of life of residents and visitors, the City of West Palm Beach has rolled out dozens of projects that have improved the public realm for non-motorized users, but there’s still work to do! Attendees participated in a bike tour to see the good, the bad, and the ugly regarding streets and intersections through an educational tour of Downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. Raphael Clemente of the Downtown Development Authority of West Palm Beach led the tour to share how roadway and intersection design plays a critical role in shaping the growth of an urban district.

Date: Thursday, January 28, 2021
Time: Tours took place at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
Duration: 75 minutes
Cost: $20 includes bike rental (As this was a partner event, separate registration from the Safe Streets Summit was required)
