Conference Agenda

Thursday, February 1, 2018 • Pre-Conference Workshop

1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Mobile Workshop (Limited capacity and additional registration required)

Join us for the 2018 SSS Pre-Conference Mobile Workshop in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach. Participants will take a ride on a trolley tour led by the Community Redevelopment Agency and learn about the City’s Complete Streets efforts. Participants will then join a walk or bicycle tour to see implemented projects first-hand. For the biking tour, we’ll visit the Flagler Drive Tactical Urbanism project along the water: For the walking tour, we will hear about the DDA’s placemaking projects and get to tour the new Brightline Station in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach. The workshop will end with an optional local business happy hour. Comfortable clothing and closed toe shoes are highly recommended. Bicycles are available with advance reservation. Participants of the bicycle tour are strongly encouraged to bring and wear a helmet. Make sure to register early as this workshop has limited capacity and will fill up!
