Safe Streets Summit
The Safe Streets Summit brings together national speakers, public officials, technical staff, and community partners to elevate our efforts on how to design safe transportation facilities for all modes of transportation including pedestrians, bicyclists, transit users, and motorists of all ages and abilities. Starting with 2017’s Summit, this conference became a collaborative effort between the Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach Metropolitan Planning Organizations. This partnership provides a local, yet regionally connected approach to prioritize Complete Streets throughout southeast Florida.
The 2017 Safe Streets Summit was held on January 26th and 27th at the Sunrise Civic Center in Sunrise. The presentation materials for conference sessions are now available on our 2017 Presentations page. Local Complete Streets individual and community champions from each county were honored at the Annual Safe Streets Award Ceremony. Click here to learn more about the 2017 Safe Streets Award winners!
